At this point, we're in limbo.

We are basically kind of in limbo, because we may have to be out of our rental home in a month or so, and we have this to come home to, and there's nothing here.

Well, limbo is not a good place to be.

Sometimes limbo is a tolerable place to be stuck.

But here, just at this point: this is limbo. There is the sense that if you stay at this point for too long, stop at this point of oblivion for a certain amount of time, you will just cease to exist. And we cannot move.

Our status is still in limbo after 13 years.
