At the end of last year, when we won it (4A) with a team that was predominantly juniors, I felt we would have a real good shot at it this year if we worked hard.

At times last year, I really felt he was the glue to our team. He just makes plays when you need him to.

The loss got them fired up. It made them realize how much everybody wanted to beat us and that we were not invincible. Without it (the loss), we might not have won the state.

These kids just trust in each other. We started a tradition of winning and as players graduate and other kids come up, they try to fill that void because they don't want to break that tradition.

I have to deal with everybody that is here in a team setting and so when he is here in a team setting, we will deal with it.

As a team we felt like we should have won the game in regulation. We took that feeling into the overtime and were just glad we still had a chance to win it.
