All my French students are fantastic. We're a tight group.

The overriding idea of the program is to speak French and build the students' self-confidence and self-assurance in themselves.

It was immersion in the sense that when we got out of the van (at the state park) no English was supposed to be spoken.

And even if their language skills didn't improve, which they all did, they became more confident in their ability to speak the language.

It is very important for me to deliver my message to students and faculty at this great institution of American society because it is the ideas and thoughts of these young people that are going to shape society in the future.
