You sit down and work out a budget -- and it's not a four-letter word despite what people think.

People get so caught up in the emotions of the season. None of us are sheltered from this type of problem if we are not watching our money carefully.

We had some miscommunication in the backfield. We left people open. We've got some work to do.

We understand that you can't transform people who don't have internal drive and desire to create. But we also know it doesn't work to urge people to think outside the box without giving them the tools to climb out.

We've got people out there that work for (the Florida Department of Law Enforcement) and the Florida Highway Patrol whose personal information is floating around in India, China or Barbados. God only knows what a terrorist can do with that information.

This holiday season saw record spending. But, unfortunately, what that means for Canadians is probably higher debt load ... It puts a lot of people over the edge.
