I learned that I knew it (there are some things in life, you knew before you could put the words to them, for me, this was one) upon first seeing the film Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and hearing Lawrence Jamieson (Michael Caine) utter these words:

We have a new story to tell convention planners. Big meetings have always come to Atlanta because it's an easy city to get to and has the infrastructure to hold them. Where we were lacking was in terms of, 'What do I do when I get out of the meeting?' Now we have more to offer.

Our research indicated that Atlanta had kind of fallen off the map a little bit. Other cities had expanded their convention centers and had become a little more attractive than what Atlanta had to offer.

After a while you have to envy these people because they have community.
