You know how much food there is (at a particular site). You know how much energy there is. You know how much a duck probably needs, so you can figure out carrying capacity.

We always try to advocate a mix of natural and agricultural foods. These birds have lived in an agricultural landscape for quite some time and are pretty used to that. And there is certainly a lot of value in providing those foods as we've reduced other habitats.
