You kind of grow up with the kids. I think it's the best of both worlds.

We had our receivers in the backfield. We had some missed routes because we had to plug different kids into there.

Our kids were just embarrassed the way we played the first half. We maybe kicked it in another gear, Marshall maybe got on their heels, I don't know. We just got on a run.

Our kids are so young, it's going to be up and down the whole season. You have to find that right chemistry and stick with it.

We're in a no-win situation on the field. But you know what - the kids who stick it out here build a lot of character dealing with adversity. I'm convinced it helps them in later life.

The kids played very hard. They could have folded, but that's what the Bobcat tradition is all about. We never gave up. I'm proud of the players, proud of the coaches and proud of the seven seniors that are on this team.
