You just keep working hard, knowing that you can't give up. Things are going to happen. Unfortunately, you can't control some of those things, like Brian getting hurt, so you just keep moving on.

It's frustrating. We need for somebody step up and start making shots and take control.

Starting off, I was shaky. Toward the middle innings, I started to slowly find my control, and my team kept me in the game until I could find my stuff.

He was just a sophomore last year and he was in control. He's just taken it to the next level. He's just trying to get himself better and the team better. He takes control when he needs to. He's a bigger leader than me or (David) English or any of the captains. He's pretty much our fifth captain.

When I was back with Baltimore, Sidney Ponson used to tell me that you can't control wins and losses but you can control 200 innings, ... Now, I'd like to get that.

It's definitely possible. We'll do what we always do. Work hard in practice and stay together. We're not going to quit. We're going to keep working.
