You have to tackle. You're not going to shut him down, but you want to minimize his big runs.

He runs through a lot of tackles. He's a very strong runner. You're not going to arm-tackle him. You'd better be ready to gang-tackle him.

You're looking at a guy who went from someone we used as a replacement to a guy who you leaned on. As good as he was last season, he's that much better this year. What he is next season should be better than this year. This isn't the last step for him.

At this point in camp, our production has been erratic at best. I just think we have a lot of ground we have to cover, and we only have a couple of weeks to go. I haven't seen a lot of things I was hoping to see out of this group. I was hoping to see a step up and have a big improvement, but the improvements we've had have been marginal, and in a couple of cases I won't say that guys have regressed, but they haven't progressed at all. Right now, I'm not real thrilled.

We had some young guys out there playing on Sunday, mostly out of necessity and partially out of it's that time of the year where they have to stand up and be accountable, and they have to help us get through ballgames. They have to help us in the rotation, and I think it will be a big factor again this week in Arizona.

He's one of those American success stories, and that's why I hope his career will end way at the top.
