You don't have to be a professional athlete, neither of us are professional athletes, we're just interested in staying fit and exercising regularly.

I met Jay in medical school. We both had similar interests in sports and sports medicine, so I think that kind of brought us together.

Look at the names in this hall of fame. I didn't think I compared to some professional athletes and people that have done all the things they've done. It's a pleasure, it really is.

Bob Wilber supported us forever and made sure the athletes had everything. And (current program director) Andy Bohannon has kept that tradition alive.

The team speed that they have, we realize they are faster than us and are probably better athletes than us. So, the way we have to go at it is pound the ball at them.

Heading into Turin our athletes are legitimate medals contenders for five to seven medals. That puts us on pace to achieve or surpass our best-ever medal total in long track at the Games.
