You do those two things (and) you're gonna be very successful. She's been real consistent for us this year. She makes them put the ball in play.

We hit a lot of line drives at people (during the first game); we just hit into a lot of bad luck. But in the second game, we were able to put a bunch of doubles together.

The last couple of years, we've had such good talent in this area. We can't get them all. Over half our roster is from around here, and I wouldn't trade any of the ladies we have for anybody else.

It's different people at different time for us. Everybody steps up for us. It truly was a team effort all weekend.

We've lost a lot of one-run games, and we might be starting to figure out how to win some of these close ones. A win against a great team like Gulf Coast lets our players know how good we can be.

The past is the past, but it doesn't stop me from having such good memories. Last year was such a wonderful experience for me - one I'll never forget.
