You can't come into a game unemotional and I think we did that. That shows some growth because some of these experiences we're going through are going to help us come district.

San Angelo really came out there motivated. Their kids played really physical. Our kids never panicked. We kind of had to hunt and peck until we found something which worked.

I am surprised they left us in a six-team district with four teams in the playoffs. I'm pleased too, because I've got a good schedule.

The way it stayed there were several positives. The travel issue is always a big factor out here so that was something to think about. I think (the UIL) had some sympathy for our situation.
