You can't afford not to be in China, but you can't afford to only be in China. Thailand is an insurance policy.

You can find suppliers here, but it's maybe two or three Taiwanese companies. In China, I can find 15 suppliers in the Shanghai area alone, and that makes it more competitive.

The trend is to have more material sourced locally, because customers want to give you more turnkey jobs.
