You can do anything you want with him. You can hit-and-run with him, bunt. We push the game with him quite a bit.

I always say you don't just win with homers. You need a bunt, you need a hit-and-run, you need a steal. Those are the little things that helped us out to win 105 games last year and those are the things that are helping us out this year to win some games.

That changes things dramatically. He made one mistake - he got (LaRue), 0-2, then gave him something to bunt. You throw him something nasty there and you don't get an advance.

You've got to hit the ball like the [left] fielder did, on a line. You've got to really jolt it to hit the ball out. I don't know if it plays different in the afternoon. Actually, it's a better park for a baseball game. You've got to pitch and defend and do things to make runs. It has big gaps, so you can hit doubles and triples. You don't have to hit home runs.

(Clemens) is tough enough to hit when it's over the plate and if he starts getting a big plate, that's going to be tough for us. I know in our ballpark, both Tim (McClelland) and Greg (Gibson), and I think Wally will, too, will call a good game and not get excited about the home crowd. You always worry when a guy has good command that he can get somebody excited.

The ball Albert hit would've gone out anywhere. There weren't balls that were hit to the warning track that did not go out that would have gone out in other ballparks. I think it's going to play like the other one.
