Writing is an escape from a world that crowds me. I like being alone in a room. It's almost a form of meditation- an investigation of my own life. It has nothing to do with "I've got to get another play

If you can go through life without experiencing pain you probably haven't been born yet.

I felt like writing about a time when I was probably, and I think all of us are, the happiest in our lives-before the obligations start in.

This was a World class competition and had a championship level atmosphere with packed crowds at every session. This was a great experience for both Jessica and Troy. It was good for them to see how you need to be consistent every dive. It was a good dress rehearsal for later events they will compete in this year.

That is writing with balls, it seems to me.

Stories may well be lies, but they are good lies that say true things, and which can sometimes pay the rent.
