Working on a film, you don't get time to develop rivalries, but the theatre is like a little village, and the differences between me, Lionel and Georgia grew.

What happens a lot in film, though not so much in the theatre, is that you get stroked and sort of massaged, like a little guinea pig.

That's the difference between working on film and working in a play. In a play, you work on it, and you live in it and develop it and make it happen.
