Within days of our public launch, the Ethernet Alliance received numerous requests from companies who wanted to join. We are delighted to see such momentum, and the wide diversity of new members that have already joined.

Since our official launch earlier this month, numerous companies have decided to join the Ethernet Alliance. We are pleased to see the value proposition of the alliance being so well recognized by so many companies, and look forward to welcoming many more new members in 2006 and beyond.

The difference between the Ethernet Alliance and other industry alliances is that many of them come up with specifications and product certification. We are just about education and serving as a resource about Ethernet technologies.

Over the last month, HFTP President Ralph Miller and I have entertained numerous requests for HFTP to create a strong European presence with our conferences and other educational opportunities. In order to explore these possibilities thoroughly, we are strengthening our relationships with some of our European friends, IH&RA. We are also using this opportunity to get our brand more widely recognized by major European players in the industry.

This [product] adds to the numerous possibilities our Star Alliance membership offer our customers.

Over the last three years, we've received numerous inquiries about whether Mercer would develop a doctoral program. Now that word is trickling out, we've gotten numerous responses and high levels of interest.
