With this group of kids, on paper, we're overmatched in every game we play. But if the kids play hard, we can play with anybody.

Laura made a lot of nice passes in the first half. She's one of those kids who does a lot of good things that don't show up in box scores.

The kids play their hearts out. They always try their hardest.

One thing is for sure, our kids aren't taking the chance to play for granted any more. Based on what they've seen and heard in the last week, being able to play this game means something to them.

These kids had all earned top individual scores at the regional competition in February. And that's why they were eligible for states.

These kids, they stayed the course. They played hard for us all year long and they were rewarded for it.
