With increasing population density, wealth in people becomes problematic. Land is scarce, water is scarce, resources are scarce. So people become a liability, and the level of tension rises.

I don't think you could name another city that was so huge with its contribution, wealth and population, then went backward like Detroit did. We went from big to smaller, and now we're building back up. The Super Bowl will change the conversation about Detroit. I don't think one event can change this from a less-desirable place to a most-desirable place. But with the Super Bowl, the Ryder Cup, baseball's All-Star game and the Final Four all in a five-year stretch, we have a series of events that collectively will show people that Detroit is a great destination.

The beach population has been light during the week. Plus, we have had flat water. But that is all subject to change.

Far from wife and son am 1, far from land and wealth and other notions of that kind. I am the Witness, the Eternal, the Inner Self.
