With both federal and local help we can address a problem in our community and provide a better life for these individuals.

After 35 years building a business and serving the academic community, I thought I would be able to enjoy the benefits of my life's work. But along comes a group of politicians and developers and they want to wipe out everything I've worked for because they think their idea of what to do with my property is better than my idea.

Countries like Malawi need, require and deserve the increased help of the international community, not only in the form of food aid but in the form of help to grow more food.

At this moment we are asking the international community to come to Pakistan's help in the wake of the earthquake and this blast will send a wrong signal outside,
