Will the native XML database support replace the relational database? The answer is no,

We have a new class of software that really is about information integration.

We have over 250 people working to either recruit or enable applications for the DB2 platform. Much of that work -- maybe 80 percent -- is on the NT platform.

The value of this is it's the next step beyond a federated database.

People will look at the turnout and say ?What message is that sending?? Do we have a positive support base in this community or does it look as though people are positive about the library but don't want to increase their taxes.

We have a good nucleus of hitters back, and if we get some support from the younger kids, we'll be right there. We just have to get ourselves organized. Right now, we are getting a feel for what we are capable of doing. I hope to see us really improve by the end of the season.
