Why try to listen, when you don't want to hear. Why try to talk when you have nothing to say. If you are consumed with a selfishness that everything you do and say is correct and that everyone that surrounds you is ignorant the only presence of ignorance resides within you.

As you get older, your expectations or trust of others is not as high as it was when one was young, naive and felt unstoppable. That is one of the things that many of us strive to regain most from life as we age, which is this innocence we once had, but due to the scars one accumulates with age, finding ones way back to this prized destination is almost impossible, because the compass we used then has been shattered by the weight of life’s disappointments.

At the time you forget where you have came from, is the beginning of the charting of a path, which has no directions to the places you truely seek.

The wise prefer to decline a fictitious offer of a liar and a thief by leading them on that they are receiving what they have sought and while the thief is walking away from the Wiseman with a hidden sense of accomplishment, the Wiseman has ‘Tattooed’ the thief for everyone to see without him knowing or feeling a thing.

Imagine for a moment a world with only you living in it. Would it be worth living in? We are all created to be part of some sort of society, even if it means hating the social circle we find ourselves in. If nothing else at least you have something to despise if you haven’t been fortunate enough in life to find something to love.

Creating a secondary character that everyone likes, instead of letting the person who you really are evolve, is bound to be a life based on short lived and shallow relationships. It takes a lifetime of character building to create a personality based on the real you before you can attain the rightfully and deserved respect and admiration that all of us seek.
