While it's true that power is being restored and schools are being painted and progress is being made

It concerns me when our schools are making significant progress from year to year, and yet are identified as program improvement, ... We should be celebrating the progress the schools are making.

And eventually, if the children in the two schools start to see themselves as a whole unit – less (as) competing schools and more of a school community and family – it will help make for easier transitions when they come together in middle school.

Catholic Schools Week helps us to look at ourselves to see how well we're really doing with everything. We take a second look back and then look forward to getting the word out to people that a Catholic education is a good investment in their child's future.

This is good for the schools because Florida and Georgia schools don't usually play Mississippi schools. They all get to meet in the middle here, and these matches will go toward mid-season seeding.

Letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend is the policy for promoting progress in the arts and sciences and a flourishing socialist culture in our land
