When you see it and it breathes and you see young people and their parents and their eyes aglow, that's what really makes me proud.

Maybe parents mistakenly believe it's safer to provide alcohol in their own home, which they perceive to be a controlled setting. But you are not helping prevent your child from something dangerous by providing them with something dangerous.

And in Ft. Scott, it was pretty tough.

When you meet a man who is over 80, who can communicate with young children the way he did, it was incredible to watch.

They weren't going to let him have a (motel) room. There was a long time he didn't feel welcome in Kansas.
