When you mention Northern Iowa now, people equate it with a place that has a good basketball program. The thing that needed to change when I came back was the perception and it has. That's what I'm most proud of.

We lost a game but we stayed in the rankings because our league is so good. Obviously, people understand how good Creighton is and know that a loss at Creighton isn't the end of the world.

When they (Greg Jr. and his brother, Anthony) started basketball, I couldn't see them as much, ... I used to have them for summers and entire Christmas breaks because I never wanted them to think I forgot about them.

It says a lot about the level of basketball being played in the area. Mansfield Senior is in the top 10 in the state in wins. There is some very good basketball played in this part of the state.

There is still a lot of basketball to be played.

I knew we weren't going to keep shooting the basketball like that. The best thing about the way we're shooting it now is, not only are we making shots, we're making tough shots.
