When you consider there were 991 teams from throughout the state, coming anywhere in the top five or ten is a great honor and we came in third. It says something about the quality of our kids.

All five of our starters have been aces throughout the course of the season. I don't know how many teams can say that. Garland, we just hopped on his back tonight and just rode him.

When you get caught in lap traffic and you lose 20 car lengths and there are five laps to go, it's not realistic after you've already reeled him in once.

They've been in the top 10, top five in the state. They had beaten us by 19 (points) a few weeks before that and then we came back and beat them. We even had a 25-point lead at one point during that game. That spoke volumes about our team.

It was frustrating to everybody. To be one of the top teams in the state, then all of a sudden the big guy was gone and your team is reduced to just trying to hang on game after game ... he meant so much. That's how we play -- everything went through him. It took us a while to regroup.

Winnebago is one of the top teams in the state. They could easily be undefeated and they have one of the best offensive players in the state. It will be a big challenge for us.
