When you add standard weather delays and labor issues to the mix, travel can be challenging for executives traveling for business during this peak time.

During major weather conditions such as this, we always advise motorists to take an alternate route, or don't travel if you don't have to.

We're lucky to get to travel as much as we do. We've been blessed to have great weather so far and we have even played through some cold games over at Indiana State (University) where it was around 35 degrees.

[Oh, and remember the near meltdown at United, struggling with labor problems and bad weather in the summer of 2000?] Some weeks, ... they were running 25 percent on time. There were planes and crews and passengers scattered all around the world; there were business travelers sleeping at O'Hare.

It's a fun aspect of the Weather Channel. It's a bit of an armchair travel thing, where Jeff talks about aspects of the area that are weather-affected and they go to different landmarks in the area.
