[When] working at night, you have to do your work, but the counter is slow, so you get to do your homework as well.

I have to adjust my sleep schedule and basically know that during the day if I need to take a nap or something to get through [work] better.

When we close at 12:15 [a.m.], having to walk to your car and being scared or having to worry that someone is out there to get you.

After 9 [p.m.], the reference librarian leaves, so we have to kind of take on that responsibility over here [at the circulation desk].

I think too often we sit back and wonder whatever happens to those cases we hear about in the paper, and really those cases aren't going anywhere because of the backup. Right now we are all losing on this, so I whole-heartedly support a third court.

It's certainly a good indication that this race may be more interesting than anybody thought.
