When was the last time you saw a Latino on the side of the road with a sign that says 'will work for food?' Instead, you'll see three or four of them waiting for a ride to work.

We support the bill by Sen. John McCain. It's not perfect, but it's a step in the right direction.

Three people per day die crossing the border. The official (total) number is 4,000. We don't know the real number. How many more bodies are out there? We don't want one more death.

We're not for uncontrolled borders, but we should have intelligent and humane borders like Canada or Europe.

We'll plant 17 crosses in their memories and hold a vigil reminding people they will not be forgotten and their voices will be heard.

These attacks are against a particular community: the Latino community, which is my community. And that's one of the many reasons we say these are racist organizations.
