When the witch is done away with at the end, all the gingerbread kids turn back into children, so they really are the finale, the good triumphing over evil.

The story, of course, is the well-known children's tale, and the music is appropriate for very young children, who are able to follow the story, and the more sophisticated musical audience. There's definitely an appeal for families who might be nervous about viewing opera for the first time, and the seasoned audiences who are more experienced with traditional musical scores.

I couldn't have scripted the (T-Town) game any better to get us prepared for the game (tonight). The kids needed to see first hand how poorly they could play in the postseason. If we don't go out and play to our strengths, against big physical teams, were mediocre at best.

That's when we seemed to get focused, whenever that happens. Our kids have been in some tough, close games, and we realized if we get the ball in the right people's hands, we're going to make free throws down the stretch, and that's what we did.
