When the Birmingham movement happened, it just stunned me, ... I felt a tiny breath of something very powerful. It changed the whole direction of my life's interest.

I don't know what happened there. I played the 15th well and I felt good on the [16th] tee when I hit the ball, but when I looked up I saw the ball going into the trees.

Once Al got that interception and that touchdown, I think everybody felt it was our time. When it happened, I had to kind of look back twice wondering if it's really happening because it's been so long.

When it first happened, it was a big deal. When it happened again it was big, too, but I felt I played better that game. I was hustling. I knew I got 50. And on [Monday] it was a good game and my team needed me.

I think our defense was pretty much still stunned after what happened.

When you make a mistake, it fuels your fury and I couldn't have felt more powerful heading into the still rings.
