When I thought about engaging our students to be more environmentally conscious, I thought our residence halls might be easier to reach out to.

They thought up a ton of favorite places.

The Pell grant is already too low for most needy students who go to four-year colleges.

We also have students who are doing placement with Southlake who can't continue until the strike is over.

We not only look at individual students, we also look at daily objectives.

Basically what happens over the course of the seven weeks is they (the students) create, write and hone a five-minute act that's based on their personal lives. We feel the funniest stuff comes from people's experiences.
