When every glass of milk, bowl of salad and slice of meat arrives on our table, it's the end of a long journey that began on a farm.

There was always a garden connection with my Grandpa. I remember how we use to dig soil for hours and hours. Gardening is in my blood. Fortunately, that blood reached all the way to my green thumb. I pretty much adore anything I plant. How I wish I could make plant grow faster. I dream of someday having a farm where I can go out and harvest my lettuce and spinach and cherry tomatoes for a salad for dinner.

This summer, I am taking the tall tree route and visiting farmers. Standing in the shadow of their ancient branches and feeling what it's like to travel back in time. It takes my breath away!

If you wait for perfect condition, you will never get anything done. Be sure to stay busy and plant a variety of crops, for you never know which will grow - perhaps they all will. Pray for good harvest, but keep on hoeing!

The high mountains were calling, where eagles circle above and the cold blue ocean flows, the time of the day, the beholder's frame of mind, or any one thing, can effectively change their appearance of immense vistas. Time had aged the mountain but the beauty of the earth is never dead.

The weather is starting to cool down. The leaves will begin to transform to beautiful red, yellows, and oranges. Welcome Autumn!
