What we do now is it is wrenching for a child to be moved from a family with whom he had a close and loving relationship.

The child needs to be prepared because, psychologically, he has bonded with the family. To him, those are his parents. A child that age doesn't know the difference between foster and adopt.

It's a very hotly charged issue.

We are simply a family that now feels very threatened.

All I do is pray for that boy and his family. Every time I see his little face I feel he's in a tough spot ... I don't think anybody wins in this issue.

When these voters are introduced to Gov. George W. Bush's positions on family planning and abortion, they move solidly against him, ... George Bush sees compassionate conservatives as his strength. We believe they are his Achilles' heel.
