What bothers me more than anything else is that they've been trying a lot of things. A year ago, it looked like things were improving, but they still have a lot more work ahead of them.

It's definitely one of their platforms for growth. What they like about it is the consistency of it.

Mattel is a show-me story. We're not going to see any Barbie turnaround this year, but investors will try to get ahead of the story and anticipate whether Friedman has really done something that dramatically repositions the brand.

Europe is not doing great. The U.K. is doing poorly and I see that across all the companies I cover.

Barbie is the tail that wags the dog. If little girls aren't captivated by Barbie anymore, I don't know what happens.

Hasbro has probably done a better job so far than Mattel in terms of integrating electronics into their toys. Electronics will continue to be a bigger part of what they do in the future.
