We've seen this happen in other states. After the first few pass (restrictions) and people see the sky doesn't fall, then it goes very quickly.

This is a public health issue. We don't allow restaurants and bars to serve tainted foods or have cockroaches and rats. We require the help to wash their hands. We have all kinds of requirements, and they're all for public health.

All reputable research done by reputable organizations - state health departments, universities, the Centers for Disease Control - show no negative economic impact.

We're way behind on this issue.

There are so many people that are responsible for this, that if I even try to thank any of them right now, I might puke, choke, cry or die.

You are going to be scrutinized very closely on that score and you need people who aren't going to stumble, especially in the current climate we've got where there's cynicism. People are watching, people are much more attentive to government and cabinet ministers.
