We've had tremendous focus during our workouts. Bennie has done a good job of getting us there. The workouts have been vigorous, twice a day, everyday. If we're not ready now, we won't be ready.

It was a shocker to me (that Miller held on). I thought he'd let the ball go. It was a good shot, helmet to helmet. He just made a great catch.

I saw 37 come up the field and hit a little post up the middle of the field. Unfortunately, when I got there, I hit him and I tried to jar the ball loose, but he made a great catch and held onto it.

The talent level is rising around here. It's going to be a surprise next year.

You take a minute to think about what exactly you did wrong and then you focus on doing better next time. We just have to get back out there and show a different side than what that (Alcorn State) game was.

I was just trying to focus on the puck and give our guys a chance to win. You have to control the things you can control and for me, that's stopping the puck.
