We've had just about everyone but three girls fighting some injury sometime this season. We've had a lot of people step up in games for us this year, though.

This was the best we've played this season, all three games. We played really well, even the Nacogdoches game (a 1-0 loss). We lost on the scoreboard in that game, not on the field.

We ended the season with 18 girls on three teams that gave it their all and wanted to play.

The injury rate at this point of the season has been high and, with three Lions players out injured as well as fitness tests pending on two others, this impacts on the experience in the squad considerably,

I know I'll pitch sometime during the season. I'll just leave it at that. I'll be ready to go whenever that is. I had a pretty solid spring and I don't know how much it matters to anybody else.

I told him sometime in the season we were going to be in the exact situation, and he was going to make it. And he did.
