We've got to treat this like a new season. The scary thing is, I don't think we've played our best basketball yet.

It's scary to say this, but I think we could be better (than last season). We graduated five seniors, but of those five only two were starters. A lot of people don't realize we had a young team, and we have a very, very good recruiting class coming in. It all looks good on paper. … I think we have a great chance at being there again at the end of the year.

Having gone through the bad days, makes this even sweeter. This is the best season I've ever played in. This is the best team I've played on, without a doubt.

This was the best we've played this season, all three games. We played really well, even the Nacogdoches game (a 1-0 loss). We lost on the scoreboard in that game, not on the field.

That was very scary. [Issaquah] played us tough. They were hitting all their threes. I jus think we were out of sync, but in the fourth quarter we picked it up.

He's tough. It's hard to rock his boat. That's what makes him a state champion.
