We've got buses running continuously to get residents out. We're trying to learn from other areas, not to repeat their mistake.

I'm not going to rule out running for a second term. But, I think you have to be psychologically prepared to walk away from the job after four years. It's the only way that you cannot be influenced by those special interests.

Most of our current membership is Caucasian residents of affluent areas and we feel we're under-represented in other areas. With the growth in Jasper County it's a logical extension.
