There are some people who don't want to think about teenagers having sex at all, in real life or in literature, ... Some parents don't want their kids reading about gay and lesbian characters.

There really are a lot of outstanding books published for young adults,

There have always been books published for teens that push the margins,

I'm thinking another decade at least. We started it and we have to finish it and we're not anywhere near to finishing it.
