We've been getting votes in the poll and we keep winning.

Missouri Southern is a good fit for Ashley. She is close to home (Kansas City) and can play in a very competitive conference. Ashley has grown tremendously this year as a player and also as a person. Ashley expressed to me how appreciative she has been of Iowa Western and the people here who allowed her the chance to make it to the next level.

We challenged the team. Defensively, we didn't let them penetrate and we contested their shots. Offensively, we adjusted to their box-and-one on Crystal (Howard). We wanted to show we had other scorers. Our team responded.

I'll be on the field about 100 plays a game (this year), ... (But) I'm all about winning, so if they need me to step in and help then I'm going to do it.

Pessimism never won any battle.
