We've been approved to explore the joint use of the runways and to conduct an environmental assessment.

We want to show that we are plowing new ground and exploring innovative ways of doing business, to bring jobs to Altus and improve economy by serving the needs of the Altus Air Force Base.

Typically, joint use with the Air Force can be a process that can take three to five years because there is a lot bureaucracy involved. We've had such good response from the secretary of the Air Force and their office. To move this far in six months is an encouraging thing to show the level of commitment we have from the DOD (Department of Defense).

I believe the way the game played out at Rutgers really stung them like nothing ever did before. I think there was a tremendous amount of soul searching and really trying to come to grips with who we are and what our strengths are and what our faults are and what we need to do.

Obviously, you can?t discount how much (Diana) meant because nobody?s ever meant more to any team than Diana has meant to this group of kids. So if you want to compare them to Diana, they fall short, but so does everybody else.

Renee set the tone in the second half by how aggressive she was, looking to score, looking to make a play every time down the court. When she's aggressive, she's as good as anybody. She's got all the skills, and her best games are on the road. That's a great sign.
