Most public defenders have more trials under their belt in five years than civil attorneys have in 20 years.

For the kids who are non-verbal, this allows them a method to make sound independently. It's an opportunity to creatively express themselves and socialize with other kids. The smiles on their faces say it all.

To hear them tell us how grateful they were after all they've been through, that something was finally happening with their house and there was finally hope for them to come back. I will never forget that.
