We're taking requests from customers who are looking for certain used copies. We already found 18 to 20 Louis L'Amour books that were on a customer's request list.

One of the reasons that we're doing this is that, sometimes, a student might want a book that's a little older or harder to find. Students are also strapped for cash, and used books are more affordable for them.

We built our business little by little to meet a demand and didn't realize it was a big business until it had already happened. Growing organic has paid off.

I remember Glenn Miller coming to me once, before he had his own band, saying, How do you do it? How do you get started? It's so difficult. I told him, I don't know but whatever you do don't stop. Just keep on going.

Obviously you can't please everyone. I'm sure some people say, 'Bloody old Len Goodman gets on my nerves.'

Kids are at my level. I like goofing around with them.
