We're keeping track to make sure they're not coming from the same household. The need surpassed what we can keep up with. There are others who need it and we are trying to feed everyone.

I'm not keeping track, but the record is there for someone to break.

I'm sure not just in my household but in other people's households, the story upsets you, because my wife and my kids read that and obviously in the back of their heads, they think I'm next, so it's good and bad.

In 2002 we gave out 42 bags of food. In 2005 we gave out 270. We had a 600 percent increase over the past four years. And we gave out 217 bags last month.

The clients here were so excited when that donation came. They made an assembly line and helped all the food into the pantry.

The mood is definitely better. There's so much more than we had before. It's really hard when we have to tell someone who needs food that we don't have any.
