Never have I felt so separate from her. And I regret to say that there were moments when my deep and loving pity for her merged into a desire to kick her fairly hard.

When Tiger Woods hit the professional golf ranks, he had dumb people talking about fried-chicken dinners and sitting watermelons out on the golf course.

Life's a battlefield, and we remain loyal to those who fight for us; those who'd die for us.

She's probably stronger than me and was face-guarding me the whole time, but I could have worked a little harder to get open. I got pretty good shots, they just didn't go down.
