We're here today to demand accountability and an end to government shutdowns. We're here to tell legislators that our public services are not for sale.

Half is better than nothing for our average member who lives paycheck to paycheck on $35,000 a year.

The people who were put out of work were pawns in a very nasty and unnecessary political game.

Never again should the citizens of this state and the employees of this state have to pay that kind of price for political gridlock.

It is obvious that the government is on the retreat so we have to keep pushing to the end. Today is already a great success because the turn-out is as big as last week's.

The important point today is that the government of Ontario was a very effective catalyst in bringing the parties together,
