We're having to keep Gena at shorter distances right now, so we're not really sure what's going to shake out coming into the season. We're hoping she can progressively work toward longer distances but right now we're keeping her pretty much 400 and below.

We were fighting a pretty hard head wind early. We are getting a lot of improvement in the field events which were weak for us early on. I am glad to see the improvement there. We are trying different people in different places to see where everyone fits the best.

She has gotten so much quicker.

She's going to be a great leader off the track. She came back to school and she's recovering well, but she won't be seeing any action for a while.

We've got a pretty good corps of distance runners. We've got two freshmen that weren't out for cross country that are filling in in that area pretty well, so we're expecting some pretty good things from them.

It doesn't feel like there is going to be a major event here in four days. And you're right. There isn't the excitement or anticipation of being at an Olympic Centre, like there will be four days before Vancouver 2010.
