We're having discussions with them, We welcome an open dialogue with appropriate Kenyan authorities and look forward to a positive resolution.

We still plan to have the appraisal done and try to keep discussions open with them and at the appropriate time, based on the appraisal, try to initiate, once again, negotiations.

Our biggest concern is that there will be more human and wildlife conflict as more elephants go into these areas and come in contact with unsuspecting residents.

We have warned people not to go out at night. And when they have to, they should not go out alone.

If the rains expected in March do not come we could have a serious problem.

We are trying to do ground and air patrol to ensure that the problem animals do not cause any havoc and to try to drive the elephants back to the park.
